The latest draft bill still keeps the controversial 30-day deadline for employers to provide employees with requested information regarding the average pay levels for women and men in their specific category. As the directive itself provides for a two-month timeframe, shortening this window seems unwarranted, particularly for large organisations. Furthermore, the absence of any cap on the number of employee requests poses a significant challenge. In practice, an employee could submit requests on a regular basis, and because the provided information must be up to date, businesses will be forced to update and recalculate salary data every single time. – Michał Włodarczyk comments for Puls HR.
