The reform of the State Labour Inspection (PIP) comes into force on 8 July 2026. Its most consequential change grants inspectors the authority to issue administrative decisions that convert B2B contracts and agreements based on the Civil Code into standard employment contracts. PIP has announced that every single decision establishing an employment relationship will trigger a fine or court prosecution.
