AI Instead of hiring? Companies lean toward new tech over new staff

More than half of companies admit that AI is already reducing the demand for certain roles, while one in three employers would prefer to implement new technologies over hiring additional staff. Regardless of when subsequent phases of the AI Act come into force or what their formal scope will be, we recommend that employers proactively implement robust safeguards and clear policies governing the use of these tools in the workplace.
