Newly proposed draft legislation significantly expands the role of trade unions regarding compensation. Unions will no longer merely receive information on pay policy; instead, they will actively participate in designing pay structures and introducing pay transparency rules. Trade unions will have the authority to request further clarification from employers on identified pay gaps, evaluate the justifications offered for those discrepancies, and take part in implementing required remedial measures. – Sławomir Paruch and Michał Włodarczyk comment to Puls HR.
