Pay equity – corporate groups must be cautious

New regulations aimed at ensuring pay equity in the EU pose new challenges for employers. While the immediate obligations related to pay reporting and transparency will fall primarily on individual employers, it cannot be ruled out that the directive will also impact corporate groups. They should prepare for the upcoming obligations to be able, in case it is necessary, to demonstrate objective criteria for differentiating salaries not only at the level of individual subsidiaries, but also across the entire group. – Michał Włodarczyk and Katarzyna Stępień comment for Rzeczpospolita.
