Siesta the Polish way

Although the summer temperatures in Poland are still at least a few degrees short of the records in southern Europe, whenever they exceed 30 degrees, there is a recurring discussion about rearranging working hours, so that employees do not have to work during the hottest time of the day. But is this even possible?
