Sick note cancellation only for a particular period

If a sick person fails to attend the check-up by a certifying doctor, their sick note becomes invalid from the day following the missed examination. The invalidation applies only to that particular sick note, and all subsequent notes are valid. However, if the sick person works during the sick leave or uses it contrary to its purpose, it is an entirely different story. I believe such a person should lose the right to sick pay or allowance for the entire period of the sick leave, even if several sick notes were issued for that period. – Łukasz Chruściel comments for Rzeczpospolita.
