Additional funds for Polish language courses for new employees

The draft law on non-native workers access to the labour market allows non-governmental organisations, labour offices, Voluntary Labour Corps, local governments, and employment agencies to apply for funds from the Labour Fund to finance activities supporting professional activation, integration, and social activity of non-nationals. These may include, help with language courses for starting employees or integration events. The proposed funding is especially needed in cases where people come to Poland from distant countries, where the culture may be different from Polish. – Karolina Schiffter comments for Rzeczpospolita.
