Although recent statutory revisions regarding the powers of the National Labor Inspectorate (PIP) do not explicitly address temporary agencies, they should stay alert. A detailed examination of the proposed regulations, supporting documentation, and expert commentary indicates that the new rules do not fit cleanly into the triangular relationship inherent to temporary staffing models. However, agencies should not remain passive. Running an internal compliance audit now is critical to preparing for potential inspections, as only time will tell how PIP chooses to interpret and enforce these standards in practice. – Oskar Kwiatkowski and Bartłomiej Wodyński comment Rzeczpospolita.
